Context and Challenge:
In 2014, as SAP’s Integrated Marketing Specialist for Eastern Africa, I aimed to expand our presence in the public and fin-tech sectors amidst fierce competition.
Action Taken:
I led a strategic initiative, conducting market analysis, establishing partnerships, customizing solutions, and boosting engagement through targeted events and thought leadership activities.
Results:
Within 12 months, SAP achieved €14M in revenue, captured over 35% market share in the targeted sectors, and significantly increased its footprint in East Africa.
Key Learnings:
Strategic market analysis, targeted marketing, and forming partnerships were crucial. This experience highlighted my ability to lead effective marketing initiatives.
